Shulman + Associates has transformed the north side of Lincoln Road with two new buildings rising on Meridian Avenue. Both demonstrate an evolution of local building culture by creating increasingly transparent, mixed-use buildings. The scale of these negotiates between the lower and higher scale buildings found in the immediate context.

801 Lincoln Road will have three uses on three levels: ground floor retail uses dedicated to smaller shops; a spacious upper-level flagship retail space (currently occupied by Anthropologie); and a rooftop lounge and restaurant. Sheathed in prismatic glass sheets and perforated aluminum panels, it turns the corner from Meridian Avenue to Lincoln Lane North, opening the possible redevelopment of that alley as a retail 'mews'.
